Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain language, exactly what Paradot AI does with your information. We keep the list detailed on purpose so nothing important is buried.

  1. Who we areParadot AI operates the website at paradot-ai.com and the companion chat service described on it. In this policy, "we", "us" and "Paradot AI" refer to the operator of that service, and "you" refers to any visitor or member.
  2. Scope of this policyThis policy explains what information Paradot AI collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what choices you have. It applies to the website, the chat experience and any email we send you.
  3. Age requirementParadot AI is intended solely for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors, and any account found to belong to a minor is closed and its data erased.
  4. Account informationWhen you register we collect an email address and a password hash. You may optionally add a display name, a date of birth for age assurance and a country. We never require a legal name or a photograph of you.
  5. Conversation contentMessages you exchange with a companion are stored so that your companion can remember them and so that you can return to the conversation later. Conversation content is linked to your account and is not published anywhere.
  6. Personal details you volunteerYou decide how much of your life to share in a chat. Anything you type may be retained as part of that companion's memory. Please do not share financial account numbers, government identifiers, medical records or the private information of other people.
  7. Payment informationCard and billing details are handled by our payment processors. Paradot AI receives only a transaction reference, the plan purchased, the amount, the currency and the outcome. We never see or store your full card number.
  8. Technical and device dataWe record IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, referring page, language and timestamps. This data supports security, fraud prevention and basic performance monitoring.
  9. Cookies and similar technologiesWe use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and session security, and limited analytics cookies to understand which pages are used. You can refuse non-essential cookies without losing access to the service.
  10. AnalyticsAggregated, non-identifying usage statistics help us decide which features to improve. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on Paradot AI.
  11. Why we process your dataWe process data to provide the service you requested, to keep accounts secure, to comply with legal duties, to prevent abuse and, where you have agreed, to send product updates.
  12. Legal basesDepending on your location we rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in operating a secure service, your consent for optional communications, and compliance with applicable law.
  13. No sale of personal dataParadot AI does not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share conversation content with advertisers, data brokers or any other commercial third party.
  14. Service providersWe use vetted providers for hosting, content delivery, email delivery, error monitoring and payments. Each is bound by contract to process data only on our instructions and to keep it confidential.
  15. Model and content processingGenerating replies and images requires processing your recent messages through automated systems. This processing exists solely to produce your companion's response and is not used to identify you.
  16. International transfersData may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions.
  17. Security measuresWe use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, access controls limited to staff who need them, audit logging and regular review of our infrastructure.
  18. Data breach handlingIf a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will investigate immediately, notify the relevant supervisory authority within the legally required period and inform affected members without undue delay.
  19. Retention periodsAccount data is kept while your account is active. Conversation history is kept until you delete it or close your account. Billing records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law.
  20. Deleting your historyYou can clear an individual conversation or all conversations from your account settings at any time. Deleted conversations are removed from active systems immediately and purged from backups within thirty days.
  21. Closing your accountClosing your account removes your profile, your companions and your chat history. We keep only the minimum records needed to prove the account existed and to meet legal obligations.
  22. Your access rightsYou may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, in a portable format, free of charge once per calendar year.
  23. Correction and objectionYou may correct inaccurate data, restrict certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent for optional messages at any time.
  24. Regional rightsResidents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada and certain United States jurisdictions have additional statutory rights. We honour valid requests regardless of where you live.
  25. Automated decision makingParadot AI does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you by purely automated means. Companion replies are content generation, not decisions about you.
  26. Marketing communicationsWe send transactional email such as receipts and security notices. Optional product email is sent only with consent and every message contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
  27. Third-party linksPages on Paradot AI may link to external websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own and we encourage you to read their policies before sharing information.
  28. Do Not TrackBecause there is still no common industry standard for handling Do Not Track signals, we treat all visitors with the same limited, privacy-respecting data collection described above.
  29. Changes to this policyWhen we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes are announced by email or by an in-service notice before they take effect.
  30. How to contact usPrivacy questions, access requests and complaints can be sent to privacy@paradot-ai.com. We reply within thirty days and will tell you if we need longer. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
